The Kitchen

The lounge leads through to the newly refurbished country kitchen. The spacious, well-equipped kitchen boasts new granite work surfaces throughout with quality cream units. Whether you are a budding chef or just enjoy home cooking, you can do so using the latest Bosch induction hob technology, a fan assisted oven and microwave. The kitchen contains a vast array of quality kitchen cooking utensils, ovenware, crockery and cutlery. We even provide the rolling pin!

For clearing up afterwards, the kitchen is equipped with an under-mounted stainless steel double sink, Bosch dishwasher and washing machine/tumble dryer. Cleaning products, both branded and eco-friendly, are provided with our compliments. Even the view from the kitchen sink stretches past the garden flowers to the far side of the Dale, which makes the washing up less of a chore!

Whilst cooking or enjoying your meal, listen to music or the news from the radio or CD player which even has an Ipod connection.  Off the kitchen there is small closet which houses the boiler, logs for the fire along with storage space to enable those wet coats and walking boots to dry. 

Checkout the many extras provided ... steamer for preparing those fresh vegetables you bought locally, scales for weighing all that fruit bought at the local market, kitchen roll for mopping up that little mess, cling film for saving the delicious bit of Wensleydale cheese, picnic bag and plastic crockery/cutlery for tomorrow's outing and trays for eating dinner in front of the open fire that evening. Just like home!

Dining

The kitchen provides a comfortable dining area with solid oak dining table and chairs  to enable four people to dine comfortably. The new addition of a stable door brings the garden, the views across the Dale and the fresh air into the kitchen and dining area, especially on those cooler days.
