Contemplate the day and the view as you lean on the rear stable door with the view into the garden and beyond. Step out from the traditional porch into the patio garden. Here one can relax surrounded by flower borders and enjoy the glorious view over 'Little Lenny Garth' to the unspoilt Bishopdale countryside beyond.

The patio garden leads to a large lawned garden which is totally self-contained surrounded by a traditional dry-stone wall. Lean on the five bar gate at the end of the day and watch the shadows and colours change across the dale as the sun sets in front of you - never a boring sight. The garden is ideal for children (and adults alike) to enjoy the plentiful outdoor games provided. A barbeque, garden furniture and a selection of games are provided for your enjoyment.

On a warm summer evening relax with a good book or magazine, sipping your drink of choice as the sun sets in glorious colours across the far side of the dale to the west. Listen for the bees buzzing around the honeysuckle, the sheep calmly bleeting in the distance and follow the swallows as they dive in and out of their nesting holes. Watch the clouds create shadows across the hills and the wind creating mexican waves of long grass across the fields. You will never tire of the five mile view from the garden at Craggley Cottage .... so beautiful, so peaceful ... Bliss!
