Guests from Guildford ... A very cool cottage indeed - absolutely everything to hand - even movies for our 5 year old! Ingleton Falls is a great walk. Hardraw Falls at Hawes - a great force - as are the falls in the village here. The cottage is a real credit. We felt 'at home' straight away. Wonderful views in beautiful Dales scenery.

Guests from Ickenham, Middlesex ... The weather has been fantastic, only one short shower. Facilities in the cottage absolutely superb, could not have been better. Lovely garden but birds are ravenous (2lb of seed in a week - great fun). Here's to the next time (winter).

Thank you Diane and Andrew for providing a very comfortable and well equipped cottage. Anyone visiting How Steam Gorge - take a torch preferable a large one. The cave is very narrow, steep and dark. You can hire one. A must is to have dinner at the Wensleydale Heifer, which rounds off a perfect week in the Dales.

Guests form Droitwich ... Lovely kitchen, comfy bed, quiet but good location. Can catch the bus and fall into the pub from here too. Recommend 6-7pm in the Wensleydale Heifer - great food, set menu is a bargain.

Visitors from Long Melford ... Comfortable and relaxing, just like home. Weather good - walked 49 miles! Please feed 'the robins'! They like custard creams.

Visitors from Worcestershire ... A beautiful cottage in a peaceful and friendly location. Weather not great but the cottage is so comfortable and has everything you need. Two greedy robins have been well fed.

Returning guest from Oxon ... A wonderful return visit to Inglenook with family in another cottage in the village. Lucky with the weather with glorious blue skies over the hills. Recommend the drive from Castle Bolton over to Reeth - you can see the coast on a clear day. Don't miss the little local museum in Reeth - a gem!

Visitors from Bagshot, Surrey ... Worst weather we have ever experienced. Roads flooded for 2 days, but we walked from the cottage. Local shops & pub had all we needed. However, the cottage is the best we have ever had and has set a new benchmark. We look forward to returning. We had forgotten just how lovely the Dales were and feel we have wasted 12 years visiting other parts of the UK.

Visitors from Norwich ... Lovely character cottage with the fire and the beams. The most comfortable bed 'ever'! The shower is superb, kitchen facilities first class and the off-street parking is very useful. Enjoyed sitting in the garden under the covered arbour - stunning views! The Dales are breathtaking - very different from 'flat' Norfolk.

Lucky with the weather - the trees just starting to turn which look glorious in the low sunlight. Recommend the butchers and also the 'Wensleydale Heifer' on main road towards Leyburn (good fish restaurant).

Walked around Leyburn, Hawes and visited Gayle Mill, the heritage lottery funded programme on TV. Very interesting. Hope to be back in May.
