Inglenook Cottage sits proudly, close to the village green in the heart of West Burton. With mesmorising garden views across the village to the hills beyond, this 18th century Grade II listed cottage has been recently renovated to offer the highest quality accommodation for the descerning visitor who values luxury on their visit to the Yorkshire Dales. The delightful cottage exudes charm and character throughout including period mullioned windows, inglenook open fire and a wealth of exposed beams.

Inglenook Cottage is now available following a period of renovation and modernisation. The new kitchen, bathrom and furnishings are now complete, and pictures are available in the gallery section of this website. We are delighted to have been awarded a 5 stars rating by Visit Britain.

Lounge

Relax in the spacious lounge on sumptious sofas in front of the feature inglenook fireplace, offering the perfect setting for cosy winter evenings. Enjoy the view from the window seat through the mullioned windows to the hills beyond the village.

Kitchen

Walk through the arched double doors across the Jerusalem limestone floor into the gourmet-equipped kitchen. Beautiful burred oak units topped with galexy black granite surfaces are a feature of the bespoke kitchen from Scottwood of Nottingham. Gleaming high tech Bosch cooking appliances are fit for any budding chef with the latest technology induction hob and supporting inset ovens/microwave along with the integrated fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. A butler's sink completes the setting. The kitchen is extremely well equipped throughout with quality utensils, crockery and cutlery for all aspects of your self catering requirements. Self catering has never been so enjoyable !

Dining

The kitchen is large enough to hold the dining table so dine in style around the solid oak table, which compliments the kitchen by comfortably sitting four people.
